Removing C-clip on penger side rear Axle shaft for 94 ford E-150?

if it is the c - clip i am thinking of try pushing in on the Axel from the outer end were the tire is then the clip should just fall out that is if it is the clip inside the differential if you need more help email me at markdurham10@yahoo.com good luck
