2002 Chrysler Sebring front end noise?

I've owned my Sebring for a couple years now and there has been this clanking noise in the front end for a long time. The car has been looked at by a few different mechanics, and no one can find anything wrong with it. There are a lot of people asking the same question all over the internet. Has anyone figured anything out? The noise is intermittent. I could drive over the same bump in the road ten times and the noise might happen once or twice or all ten times. Again, there are a lot of posts on the internet about this problem, most of which are a few years old now, so has anyone figured out what this mystery noise is?
