Whats up with Rodney Carney? ?

I remember seeing him play in college when he was at Memphis and if I had to choose between him Derek Rose and Tyreke Evans becoming a star in the NBA, I would've chose him. Dude has been non existant in his NBA career. Any thoughts on why?
