Is it safe to NOT consume any kind of sugar for a long period of time?

Like for year? You see my father in law believes because his Dr. told him that ALL sugar is bad. So he hasn't consumed sugar in months. Not even a grapfruit he thinks is ok sugar to consume. He thinks now that they are all unhealthy. My sister gave me an explanation opposing the Dr. views on no sugar consumption. And she also told me how sailors use to get sick when they would go on their long expeditions if their fruit and veggies rotted because it brought forth a desease to not have sugars or soemthing like that. So anyone who can be insightful by answering my question please do so. I'll appreciate it.

Boyfriend is starting to treat me like I'm is 3rd WIFE? Am I being used?

Im dating a man that is 19 years older then me. He , cooks for me every night and is your over all nice guy. However he drinks every single night (vodka cranberry) Which is becoming a habit for me too. As I don't feel comfortable around him unless I'm drinking. He is a retired vet and talks about being in the navy in the late 1970's be4 I was even born.... he comes across as being obsessed on it at times. He has been married 2X and his ex wife still does his laundry? And he pays for her cell phone? This annoys me! He is not divorced he is separated? He doesn't drive either.... claims he has to get his truck inspected? So if he needs to go to the store he will ask me!.... it's an odd story I know... Last but not least in the dept. he can only go once and he is super fast. It's almost a sheer waste of time for me as I never get off! In the last couple of days he is asking me to spend my monies on groceries for him buy him booze, he is also asking me to do is laundry, vacuum his house and do his dishes all the time. I feel like he wants me to be his 3rd wife. I am doing duties that a wife does ? NO? Should I get out now?

Manufacturer's Hard Drive Diagnostics Tool?

If I don't know (how do I find out, other than opening the case?) who is the manufacturer of my internal hard drive on my desktop and I want to do tests on my hard drive for problems, can I use, for example, Western Digital's hard drive diagnostics tool to test my unknown hard drive? If not, why not?

PLEASE HELP!!! Im crazy for her. Does she like me?

Ok there's this girl I met last year. She kinda acted a lil flirty with me. She would say stuff like,"we share a special bond" or " I feel like I can't talk to you without saying your name". Sometimes guys would flirt with her and hug her and she would look at me and come hug me. anyway I asked her for her number and she told me it. Over the summer I texted her twice and she never replied to me which hurt my feelings. ( ya I like her). Anyway this year she likes to sit close to me sometimes. During emblies for example. She will sit so close to me that our arms and legs touch and she wouldn't pull them away. The other day there was an empty desk in fron of her and she told me to sit there but I couldnt. (teacher wouldnt let me.) She says hi to me all the time too and occasionally hugs me. The other day I saw her in the hall and we made direct eye contact but she shyed away from saying hi to me (so did I). She makes really stupid excuses to talk to me sometimes. Anyway, I asked her to hang out with me yesterday and she seemed kinda happy & surprised and she was giggling. She dropped her other plans to go with me. But my other friends that were gonna be there didn't want her annoying best friend to go so she decided to stay with her best friend and not leave her alone. I called her to see if she was coming (my first time calling her) and her phone said my name I guess (i was in her contacts) and she said, " ohh I thought it was another Jason".and I never even asked her about that. Im guessing that was an excuse to why she never replied to my texts last summer. Do u think she likes me? Obviously I'm crazy for her.Sorry if this is long.
